An Sgurr

A steep summit in the Ross and Cromarty district of Highland Council area, An Sgurr lies 2½ miles (4 km) west of the settlement of Lochcarron. Rising to a height of 391m (1282 feet) it offers views of Loch Kishorn to the west, Loch Carron to the east and the peak of Bad a' Chreamha to the south. Another An Sgùrr (also known as the Sgurr of Eigg) rises to almost the same height on the island of Eigg, 42 miles (67 km) to the southwest.
