Loch Tilt

A small loch in the Grampian Mountains of NE Perth and Kinross, Loch Tilt lies close to the border with Aberdeenshire, 10 miles (16 km) southwest of Braemar. Despite sometimes being quoted as same, Loch Tilt is not the source of the River Tilt, although it is the source of Caochan Dubh Mor, which is a headstream of Allt Garbh Buidhe, which is in turn a tributary of the Tilt.
