The craggy tops of Tom an Neoil rise to a height of 638m (2093 feet) overlooking Coire an Lochain to the northwest and Coire Dubh to the south. The mountain is situated in the S of Knoydart, 1¼ miles (2 km) northeast of Loch Nevis and 3 miles (5 km) southwest of Inverie.
