A hill which represents the highest point on Holy Island, lying off the east coast of Arran in North Ayrshire, Mullach Mor rises to 314m (1030 feet) in the centre of the island. Its summit is marked by an Ordnance Survey triangulation pillar. The name is Gaelic meaning "big summit". Geologically it forms part of the Holy Island Sill; Trachyte igneous rock that was injected into pre-existing sedimentary rocks.
