A rocky summit with panoramic views to the north, Am Bioran rises to 616m (2020 feet), 1¼ miles (2 km) south of St Fillans and a similar distance south of the eastern limit of Loch Earn in W Perth and Kinross. Beinn Fuath is located a quarter-mile (0.5 km) to the southwest.
