Fell Hill

A summit lying between Grey Hill and Cairn Hill in the Carrick district of South Ayrshire, Fell Hill rises to 266m (872 feet) ¾ mile (1.2 km) south of Ardmillan Castle. It lies within the Grey Hill Grasslands Nature Reserve and the underlying rocks are part of the Ballantrae ophiolite complex. There are other Fell Hills 2¼ miles (3.5 km) to the south southeast and 8 miles (13 km) to the east southeast.
