A summit in South Lanarkshire, Crookedstane Rig rises to 406m (1332 feet) between the upper reaches of the River Clyde and the M74 motorway, 2¼ miles (3.5 km) south southeast of Elvanfoot. The summit lies within plantation forest, but tracts were felled in 2010 to allow the construction of the Clyde South Wind Farm.
