An insignificant summit lying at the southeast end of a prominent ridge that includes Stuc a' Chroin and Ben Vorlich on the border between Stirling and Perth & Kinross. Meall na h-Iolaire ('mountain of the eagles') rises to 603m (1978 feet) and is located 4 miles (6 km) east southeast of Strathyre and 5 miles (8 km) north of Callander. Th eastern boundary of the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park lies immediately to the west.
