Wick River

The Wick River forms at the confluence of the Strath and Scouthal Burns, a mile (1.5 km) south southwest of the southeastern end of Loch Watten in the Caithness district of Highland Council Area. The river flows northeast, passing to the east of the village of Watten, to receive the Loch Burn from said loch before turning east southeast for 7½ miles (12 km) to fall into Wick Bay, having passed through the town of Wick and completed a course of 8½ miles (14 km).
