River Evelix A river of S Sutherland, noted for its salmon and sea-trout, the River Evelix emanates from Loch an Lagain, 4 miles (6.5 km) northeast of Bonar Bridge. It flows southeast and then turns southwest at Evelix, before reaching the artificial Loch Evelix and then entering the Dornoch Firth through Poll na Caorach.
