Loch Bharradail

A small loch in the E of the island of Islay in the Inner Hebrides, Loch Fada is situated a quarter-mile (0.5 km) northeast of Beinn Bharra-dail and 1¼ miles (2 km) south of Kilmeny. It extends to 4 ha (10 acres), receives most of its water from Loch Fada and is drained to the north by Allt Loch Bharra-dail, which is a headstream of the River Sorn. Loch Bharradail supports a recreational fishery. The loch contains an islet at its shallow northern end.
