Enoch Hill

A summit of SE East Ayrshire, Enoch Hill rises to 569m (1866 feet) 5 miles (8 km) east of Dalmellington and a similar distance southwest of New Cumnock, within 1½ miles (2.5 km) of the boundary with Dumfries and Galloway. Its summit is marked by an Ordnance Survey triangulation pillar. The source of the River Nith lies at the foot of its western slopes. There is another Enoch Hill 47 miles (75 km) to the southwest.
