A small reservoir on the course of the Pundeavon Burn in North Ayrshire, Pundeavon Reservoir (also known as Plan Dam) is located 2½ miles (4 km) northwest of Kilbirnie and 3½ miles (5.5 km) west of Lochwinnoch. Retained by an earth embankment dam and extending to an area of 4.4 ha (10 acres), it is operated by Scottish Water for the supply of drinking-water. A recreational fishery on the reservoir is managed by Kilbirnie Angling Club.
