Glen Torridon

Glen Torridon lies within Wester Ross, Highland Council Area and carries the waters of the Torridon River westward to empty into Upper Loch Torridon to the south of Torridon. To the north of the glen lies the peaks of the Liathachs, namely Mullach an Rathain and Spidean a' Choire Leith while to the south lies Seana Mheallan and Sgurr Dubh. The dramatic scenery has provided the backdrop to various films including Highlander (1986), starring Christopher Lambert, Sean Connery and James Cosmo, and Stardust (2007) featuring Michelle Pfeiffer and Robert De Niro.
