Green Burn

A significant tributary of the Gogar Burn, the Green Burn rises from a spring at Belstane in West Lothian, and flows north collecting a series of field drains, before turning northeast to Whitemoss. From here it forms the border between West Lothian and the City of Edinburgh for 2½ miles (4 km), passing Kaimes and Easter Newton, before it falls into the Gogar Burn at Burnwynd. It is 4 miles (6.5 km) in length.
