Rising to the northwest of Cupar in Fife, Kilmaron Hill rises to 147m (482 feet) overlooking the valley of the River Eden. On its south-facing slopes can be found Kilmaron Den, Kilmaron Farm and the remains of Kilmaron Castle which was built to a design by J. Gillespie Graham c.1820 for the Dundee manufacturer and benefactor Sir David Baxter (1793 - 1872).
