Cheese Bay


(Bàgh a' Chàise)

A natural anchorage on the northeast coast of North Uist, Cheese Bay (Gael: Bàgh a' Chàise) lies to the east of a scattered settlement of the same name and 4 miles (6.5 km) northeast of Lochmaddy. The island of Orasay lies immediately to the northwest.
