A small loch overlooking the west coast of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides, Loch an Duin is situated in Shader. The remains of a substantial galleried Dun lie on a small island in the loch, which is connected to the shore by a narrow causeway. There are three other lochs named Loch an Duin in Lewis, the nearest of which is located 14 miles (23 km) to the west southwest.
