Loch Broom

A sea loch in Wester Ross, Highland Council Area, Loch Broom extends southeastwards inland from the Minch for 7 miles (11 km). The 18th Century planned village of Ullapool, founded by the British Fisheries Society, lies on its east shore and beyond its mouth are a scattering of islands known as the Summer Isles.
