A small bay on the east coast of the island of Hoy (Orkney), Ore Bay lies to the south of Lyness and looks out onto the southern end of the island of Fara in Scapa Flow. The bay retains piers once associated with the Lyness Naval Base, the principal focus of naval activity in the Flow.
