King's Seat

One of the Sidlaw Hills of Perth and Kinross, King's Seat rises to 377m / 1237 feet 1½ miles (2.5 km) east northeast of Collace and 2¼ miles (3.5 km) west northwest of Abernyte. Its summit is marked by a cairn and an Ordnance Survey primary triangulation pillar installed in 1936 for the re-triangulation of Great Britain. The hill is fashioned from igneous rocks of Devonian age.
