Craigowl Hill

A summit towards the eastern end of the Sidlaw Hills in Angus, Craigowl Hill represent the highest point in the range, reaching a height of 455m (1492 feet) northeast of Kirkton of Auchterhouse. Its summit is marked by an Ordnance Survey primary triangulation pillar installed in 1936 for the re-triangulation of Great Britain and the hill is crowned by a variety of communications masts.
