Craigmyle House

An estate and former mansion in Aberdeenshire, Craigmyle House lies just east of Torphins and 6 miles (10 km) northwest of Banchory. Built in 1676 by a branch of the Burnett family, it was extended and modernised by Sir Robert Lorimer in 1902 for R. P. Robertson of Glasgow and later the property of Thomas Shaw, Lord Craigmyle (1850 - 1939). However it was demolished in 1960.
