The remains of a Mediaeval collegiate church and associated priests accommodation in Dumfries, Lincluden College was established in 1389 by Archibald the Grim, Lord of Galloway (1328 - c.1400). Lincluden, which was originally founded as a Benedictine priory in the 12th Century, was later extended by Margaret, daughter of King Robert III, the survival of priests accommodation being unique in Scotland.
