A castle situated at the foot of Strathglass, near the settlement of Struy by the Rivers Glass and Farrar, 8 miles (13 km) southwest of Beauly, Highland Council Area, Erchless is the ancestral home of the Chisholm family. It was built in the early 17th century as an L-plan tower house and has undergone much alteration in the 19th century, including the addition of a new Baronial-style wing in 1895.
