Sgurr nan Coireachan

One of two Munro peaks in the Glenfinnan horseshoe, Sgurr nan Coireachan is located southeast of Loch Morar in the Lochaber district of Highland Council area. Rising to a height of 956m (3136 feet), the summit is found at the conjunction of a number of corries and is marked by an Ordnance Survey triangulation pillar. There are corries to the southwest, south and east, and its name originates from Gaelic meaning "peak of the corries". Another mountain of the same name and similar height lies just 5 miles (8 km) to the north northeast.
