Barra Head

(Ceann Bharraigh)

Barra Head (Gael: Ceann Bharraigh) forms a cape on the south coast of the island of Berneray in the Western Isles. It lies 12 miles (19 km) to the southwest of the island of Barra and represents the southernmost point of the Outer Hebrides. Because of this position, the entire island of Berneray is sometimes referred to as Barra Head.
