Buchanan Street Bus Station

(Buchanan Bus Station)

Glasgow City's only remaining bus station, Buchanan Street Bus Station sits on Killermont Street, to the north of Buchanan Street, between the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall and Glasgow Caledonian University. It provides local services around Glasgow as well as to nearby communities and inter-city services within Scotland and the UK. Built in 1977, this is the biggest and busiest bus station in Scotland, with over 1700 bus departures every day, providing a service to more than 40,000 passengers. It is owned and operated by Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT), a public body which coordinates transport in and around Glasgow.
