Ardnish Peninsula

A hilly tract of land extending south from the Arisaig peninsula, Ardnish juts into the Sound of Arisaig, separating Loch nan Uamh from Loch Ailort. The Ardnish Peninsula measures 3¾ miles / 6 km in length and 2¼ miles / 3.5 km wide. It is now unpopulated, although the remains of several settlements lie around its coastline, including Glasnacardoch, Mullochbuie and Peanmeanach.
