A headland and hammerhead-shaped peninsula on the south coast of the island of Sanday in Orkney, Els Ness is situated 2 miles (3 km) south southeast of Broughtown. Connected to the coast by a narrow tombolo known as Quoy Ayre, the headland supports archaeological remains including a chambered cairn and numerous stone cairns.
