A rugged peninsula located between Loch Resort and Loch Tealasavay in the remote SW of the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides, Àird Mhòr lies 4 miles (6.5 km) northeast of Hushinish Point. It extends to 2 miles (3 km) in length and a mile (1.5 km) wide, with the summit of Snehaval Mor at its head. The smaller Aird Bheag lies to the north.
