Carn Dearg

A mountain with a complex summit which includes several lochans and two measured tops which reach 680m (2230 feet), a further at 674m (2211 feet) and at least one other over 670m (2198 feet), Carn Dearg is situated 2 miles (3 km) east of the eastern end of Loch Loyne and 2¾ miles (4.5 km) north of Loch Garry. Its northern slopes descend steeply towards the River Loyne, within the Beinneun Forest.
