A castle in Dumbarton, West Dunbartonshire, Dalmoak Castle is more a castellated Gothic mansion house than a fortified castle. The present building was erected in 1869, although it is believed that a building has stood here since the mid-15th century. Currently a private nursing home, it has a five bay facade of coupled windows, a large stained glass window and battlemented parapets with a central tower rising behind.
