Heatherbank Museum of Social Work

The Heatherbank Museum of Social Work is located within the campus of Glasgow Caledonian University in the City of Glasgow. Created in 1975, it intends to raise awareness of social welfare issues and in particular for those disadvantaged members of society. The museum provides insight into many aspects of social welfare and social care in Scotland over the past 200 years, and does this through exhibitions and interactive displays. Archives include picture and book archives, government acts and laws, as well as collected and recreated archives.
