Paisley Museum and Art Galleries

Built in the late 19th Century, the Paisley Museum and Art Galleries is home to a world-renowned collection of Paisley shawls. The museum displays exhibits that trace the history of the Paisley Pattern and the development of weaving techniques. Displays also look at the social history of the communities involved. There are also collections of ceramics and Scottish paintings.
