Dupplin Moor Battlefield

Dupplin Moor, 5 miles (8 km) southwest of Perth, was the scene of a battle fought on 12th August 1332 at which Edward Balliol defeated the Earl of Mar, Regent of Scotland. A stone cross, now in St Serf's Church in Dunning, once marked the site of the battle.
