Rhubha nan Sasan

A headland on the western side of the entrance to Loch Ewe in the NW Highlands, Rhubha nan Sasan is situated a mile (1.5 km) north of Cove. There is a car park at the roadend here, while the headland is also the site of a hydrographic survey pillar and a memorial commemorating the crews lost on the Arctic convoys which sailed from Loch Ewe to Russia during World War II.
