Bac na Creige

An elongated summit amongst the high plateau of the Grampian Mountains, which lies to the north of Dalnamein Forest on the border between Perth & Kinross and Highland, Bac na Creige rises to 770m (2526 feet), 3 miles (5 km) east of Loch an Duin. The mountain has sparse vegetation, with pools of standing water amongst the peat. Comyn's Road (Rathad nan Cuimeinach or Rathad nan Caoirneach), an ancient route between Atholl and Badenoch, passes to the west of the summit.
