St Andrews Aquarium


(St Andrews Sea Life Centre)

The Aquarium is an exhibition of marine life overlooking the Steprock swimming pool and adjacent to the West Sands, St Andrews. Displays include tropical fish, with Amazonian Piranha, seahorses and touch pools. Noted as a seal sanctuary, the aquarium works closely with the Sea Mammal Research Unit of the University of St. Andrews.

The aquarium underwent a major refurbishment in early 2000.
