Hairy Ness

A pincer-shaped rock-trimmed headland in the E Scottish Borders, Hairy Ness lies between Killiedraught Bay and Eyemouth Harbour, a half-mile (0.8 km) north of the centre of Eyemouth. Surrounded by 20-m (65-foot) high bluffs, the static caravans of Eyemouth Holiday Park occupy much of this headland. Hairy Ness represents the southeastern limit of St Abbs and Eyemouth Voluntary Marine Reserve.
