Brodie Park

Gifted to Paisley by Robert Brodie in 1871 and opened to the public six years later, Brodie Park is located a mile (1.5 km) south southwest of the town centre. With an area of 22 acres (9 ha), it has an informal layout including a line of fine lime trees. In Victorian times the park was popular with the gentry of the town, who came in their horse-drawn carriages. Today, it has facilities for tennis, and pitch and putt, as well as a designated play area.
