Sgiath Chuil

(Sgaith Chuil)

Sgiath Chuil rises to a height of 920m (3018 feet) and is located west of Killin in Stirling Council Area. Although classified as a Munro, it is not a particularly prominent mountain, but rather a high-point lying at high level between Sgiath Chrom and Meall a' Churain. The summit, on top of a small crag, is rocky, and is said to resemble the prow of a ship. Its name originates from Gaelic and means "back wing".
