Orasay

(Orasaigh)

Orasay (Gael: Orasaigh) is a remote, rock-trimmed, uninhabited islet, the largest of several hereabouts, in Loch Uskavagh on the east coast of Benbecula in the Outer Hebrides. It should not be confused with another Orasay lying 1¼ miles (2 km) to the northeast or indeed Orasay Uskavagh, an island which is located a mile (1.8 km) to the east southeast.
