Carn an Fhidhleir

(Carn Ealar)

Rising to a height of 994m (3261 feet) in the centre of the headwaters of the rivers Feshie, Geldie and Tarf, Carn an Fhidhleir (also known as Carn Ealar) lies on the borders of Aberdeenshire, Highland and Perth & Kinross Council Areas. Classified as a Munro, its summit is marked by a cairn and its name is derived from the Gaelic for "hill of the fiddler".
