Skid Hill

The highest of the Garleton Hills of East Lothian, Skid Hill rises to 186m (610 feet) between Byres Hill and Craigy Hill, 1½ miles (2.5 km) north of Haddington. A disused quarry near the summit once extracted 'whinstone' or hard trachyte lava.
