Penwhapple Glen

Penwhapple Glen is a steep wooded valley which extends to the southeast of Old Dailly in South Ayrshire. It is occupied by the Penwhapple Burn. This ravine provided a hiding place for Covenanters, while the Ordovician and Silurian rocks here have yielded notable fossils.
