A rocky massif on the eastern edge of the Black Cuillin of Central Skye, Beinn Dearg (the 'red mountain' in Gaelic) lies between Glamaig and Marsco. It rises to a height of 731m (2398 feet) at Beinn Dearg Mhor, with its other summits including Beinn Dearg Mheadhonach (651m / 2135 feet) and Ciche na Beinne Deirge (509m / 1669 feet).
