A modest summit at Torbanehill in West Lothian, Torbane Hill rises to 187m (608 feet) a mile (1.5 km) north northeast of Whitburn and 2 miles (3 km) southwest of Bathgate. Torbanehill House once lay on its southern slopes, which gave its name to Torbanite, a form of cannel coal.
