River Roy

A river to the east of the Great Glen, the River Roy rises in Loch Roy, a lochan located 12½ miles (20 km) south of Fort Augustus and flows northwest, then west, the southwest through Glen Roy to join the River Spean near Roybridge, having completed a course of 15 miles (24 km). The Falls of Roy lie in the middle course of the river, to the east of Leckroy.
