Longhaven Cliffs Reserve

A nature reserve in NE Aberdeenshire, Longhaven Cliffs represents a 1½-mile (2.5-km) stretch of the Buchan coastline situated 2½ miles (4 km) southwest of Boddam and a similar distance northeast of Cruden Bay. The cliff tops offers spectacular views of sea bird colonies, including puffins, with an abundance of wildflowers. Granite was once extensively quarried in the vicinity, and some quarrying activity continues.
